The Exodus story is our story. The suffering of Israelites in their bondage to Pharaoh points to our suffering in our slavery to sin. The liberation of Hebrews by Moses points to our salvation accomplished by Jesus Christ. We were delivered out of our bondage because “I AM” came down to die as the Lamb of God.
