The author of Psalm 66 praises God for what God has done for Israel and for himself. God delivered Israel from slavery and the Psalmist from his trouble. When God answers prayers, life begins anew. When our prayers are answered, we experience our little Easter. Today is Pentecost Sunday. Filled with the Spirit, the disciples went out to boldly proclaim what God had done for us in Christ. Filled with the Spirit, we declare: “Let me tell you what God has done for me!”
