The Devil comes to distort God’s image in human beings and to kill human lives. But we do not need to fear the evil one because Jesus came to destroy the works of the Devil. The exorcisms point to Jesus’ victory in his resurrection. The only one we need to fear is Jesus, the one who has all authority.
