The parable of the wedding banquet contains both a warning and good news. The warning is that being a part of the church does not guarantee one’s place in God’s kingdom. The good news is that God’s kindness is persistent. If you are not yet a Christian, God is inviting you for his banquet in his kingdom. If you are a Christian, God is inviting you to feast on his table everyday through the meditation of his word.
