Did you ever wonder why the risen Christ showed himself only to 500 believers? Why didn’t the risen Christ show himself to the unbelieving Jews and Romans? Wouldn’t that be much more convincing? Jesus already gave us an answer in one of his parables. In his story of the rich man and Lazarus, Moses says that if people do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead. To believe in Jesus’ resurrection, the testimony of the apostles is enough.
