There are three great callings for us in the Bible. These three commands reveal three purposes for humanity. One is the cultural mandate. It is a call to create and to reflect God’s rule on earth as the image bearers of God. Second is the great commission, which is a call to bring God’s salvation and restoration to all creation. The third call is the greatest commandment, to love God and our neighbors. How are we responding to these great callings?
