During Joseph’s 13 years as a slave, he descended deeper into the pit. But God was with him and raised him up so that he could be a blessing to the nations. We see such movement in Jesus. He descended to death on the cross. But God was with him and exalted him to the highest place. How do we respond when we go through difficult times?
