“When you said, ‘Seek my face’, my heart said to you, ‘Your face, Lord, I will seek.’” (v.8 in Hebrew)
That’s what prayer is. Prayer is seeking God’s face in response to God’s Word. God is the one who tells us to seek Him. We respond in faith, seeking God’s face in prayer. Then we can receive God’s grace, joy and confidence that dispels fear. Are we seeking only the gifts from God’s hand or are we seeking God Himself?
