The nine fruits of the Spirit are the characters of Jesus Christ. How can we develop these characters? It is a partnership between God and us. What is God’s part? God uses his Word, his Spirit, and circumstances to change us. What is our part? We are to change our thoughts by meditating on the Word, depend on the Spirit by constant prayer, and respond wisely to our circumstances as a part of God’s plan to make us like Jesus Christ.
