In addition to offering rest for our souls, Jesus reveals his heart to us. Jesus is gentle and humble in heart. Though the Father has committed to Jesus all authority, Jesus is gentle and kind, willing to associate with the lowly sinners and even die for sinners. Because of Jesus’ heart, we can draw near to him. What can you do this week to draw near to Jesus and experience his heart for sinners?
