Today’s passage tells us the story of Jesus and the cosmos, beginning with creation and ending with redemption. The passage is full of good news: Jesus Christ is not only the creator of the universe, but also the supreme ruler above all thrones and powers. This awesome Jesus is the redeemer who reconciles the whole world to God. Moreover, this cosmic Jesus is also the personal Jesus who comes to where we are to initiate a relationship with us.
