It is normal for God’s people to experience hopelessness in life. It should be normal for Christians to share such experiences with other Christians. Moreover, we can bring our hopelessness to God. When we sing of God’s love, we are enabled to pray. And through prayer, we can receive hope from God. And real hope will empower us to act in obedience to God’s commands. Cynics will not change the world. Only those with hope will act to change the world.
