What does it mean to rejoice in God? It means finding joy in God’s salvation and God’s love. God saved us by sending his Son as an atoning sacrifice. Christ’s death also demonstrated God’s lavish love for us. Both God’s redemption and love are found in the gospel. We can cultivate more joy when we live like Christ: being grateful, serving others, and sharing the gospel.
