If no one can be justified by the works of the law, how then can we be made righteous? There is hope. God provides his own righteousness apart from the law. It is given to us as a gift through faith in Jesus Christ. This is the heart of the gospel: sinners are justified by God’s grace through faith in the work of Jesus Christ. Have we rejected our own good work and relied on Christ’s perfect work? Are we depending on Christ’s righteousness for our daily acceptance by God?
