Through three parables in Luke 15, Jesus reveals God’s heart for the lost. The Pharisees and the teachers of the law despised the lost, but Jesus was a friend of the tax collectors and sinners. God’s heart beats with relentless compassion for the lost. Today, are Christians perceived by the world to be more like the Pharisees or Jesus? Do we love people outside the church? Before we share the gospel with others, let us ask God to give us His heart for the lost.
