Why should we practice hospitality? First, the Bible commands us to show hospitality (Rom 12:13, Heb 13:2). In our text, Jesus tells us to show hospitality to those who cannot repay our favor. But the greater reason we should practice hospitality is because we have received God’s hospitality. Though we are unworthy guests, God graciously welcomed us into His Kingdom. We are to extend the same hospitality to others without expecting repayment.
