Today’s text contains Mary’s praise, known as the Magnificat. She sings to magnify Yahweh.
First, Mary magnifies God for being the Savior.
Second, Mary magnifies God for his justice.
Third, Mary magnifies God for his mercy.
God sent his Son to save his people from their sins because of his mercy and his faithfulness. Jesus is a merciful savior. Let us magnify the Lord with our praise and our lives!
