November 27: “My Eyes Have Seen the King” Isaiah 6:1-13 Pastor Joe Sohn

The worship in Protestant Church is very different from Catholic Church.  Why do we worship the way we do ? The Protestant worship is largely based on the movements or elements contained in Isaiah 6 . There is God’s revelation and Angels’ praise. Isaiah’s confession and God’s pardon. God’s word and Isaiah’s commitment.  God’s commission and Isaiah’s service. There is also the lifting up of the holy seed – the promised Messiah. Isaiah went into the temple courts anxious and depressed about the death of King Uzziah, but he encountered the Holy One of Israel and gained a new perspective. Isaiah left the temple transformed, forgiven, cleansed, and called to do God’s work. May CCSV leave the sanctuary transformed every Sunday.
