Christians are not to blindly follow a political party or a political leader. We are to follow Christ and seek his kingdom. God’s kingdom is about loving God and our neighbors. Kingdom values should inform our politics. As Christians, we are to love people who hold different political views. We are also to pray for our political leaders. We pray because our trust is not in political leaders but in Jesus Christ.
