God’s will is good, pleasing and perfect. Do we believe this? It’s hard for us to believe it when things do not go well for us. The third petition is identical to Jesus’ Gethsemane prayer. God’s will was accomplished because Jesus trusted in God’s goodness and bore the cross. In our own hardships, can we trust that God’s will is good for us? How can we express our trust?
